This house received, probably around 1899, this exceptional painted decoration, by its learned theme of mythological figures and its technique requiring a real know-how.
Sgraffito consists of applying two layers of different colors. By scraping the darker upper layer of paint, the motif appears on the lighter lower layer. In 1908, in his garden and in advance of the initial building, a complex including cinema and stores is raised.
