Created in the 19th century, the Grand Jardin became the property of the town of Brignoles in 1975. It was landscaped and inaugurated in 1979 under the name of Charles Gaou, a local political figure.
After a long period of neglect, the garden once again found itself at the heart of the town's project and was brought back to life. Designed around 3 areas - a playground, an open-air theater and a monumental pond - the Charles Gaou Garden is designed for all publics and offers a new approach to urban life. A garden for the city, for its inhabitants, a place to meet, exchange ideas and relax.
