Around an 18th-century hunting lodge, visit a reinterpreted formal garden, with period ponds, remarkable and bicentenary trees, a Roman Olympic pool, a young collection of fruit trees, an olive tree spiral and more...
A former 18th-century hunting lodge just a stone's throw from the village of Cucuron, Pavillon de Galon boasts a graceful pleasure garden. Created in 2004, this formal garden unfurls harmonious perspectives around 4 basins. Wild herbs, spontaneous bouquets and trimmed beds... An inviting setting at the foot of the Luberon.
- Built in the 18th century on a 15-hectare estate, this holiday home is just a stone's throw from the village of Cucuron. There are vineyards, olive groves and truffle oaks. In 2004, the current owners decided to create an ornamental garden around the pavilion. To do so, they reinterpreted the French-style garden. Since then, Mediterranean plants, a profusion of irises and a complete collection of French artichokes have flourished here. The paths are lined with tall cypress trees. At the rear of the pavilion, the olive grove forms an original spiral. Mirroring the sky and surrounding landscapes, 4 basins fed by a spring and mines of Roman origin punctuate this exceptional garden, a jewel of greenery in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park.
