This space, behind the Palace of the Popes, was originally the orchard of Pope Urban V in the 14th century. Today it is a public garden which was used during the Festival d'Avignon at the time of Jean Vilar. Today there can be concerts and other cultural events. Open 8am to 11pm.
You reach the garden via the Place de l'Amirande and by the street "Rue des Escaliers Sainte Anne" near the Utopia cinema.
