This House built in 1845 for the Marseilles merchant Louis-Xavier Pinatel, is one of the most important and one of the only witnesses to the marseillaise architecture of the middle of the 19th century. It is built on the location of "the villa Alaudii" (former location of the inhabitants of Allauch). Registered with the Historic Monuments, the castle is distinguished by innovative architecture of the time. While keeping a traditional provision, the architecture breaks from la Bastide to make the House a real castle: a cubic volume, a roof concealed by a classical balustrade, two large terraces and a pediment underlined by two stairs and symmetrical ramps. The property also consists of a Court of honour with two monumental portals and front of the faade a large garden woodland of plane trees, Palm trees and Cedars dating from the construction of the home with a pool in the centre of it. This monument is closed to the public.
