On the Route des Grandes Alpes, which reaches the Bévéra Valley over Col de Turini, La Bollène-Vésubie is a very old village built on the slope of a mountain promontory.
With its splendid oval layout girdled by the road, it is made up narrow stepped streets lined with tall alpine houses huddled closely together, some built directly on the bedrock. This mountain territory features barns and vacheries (cow sheds), valleys, gorges and the Turini-Camp d’Argent ski resort.
