This cross is now located in the old cemetery. It was originally erected in 1660 in the cemetery to the south of the church, then moved in 1702 to the cemetery to the north of the church. The cemetery moved north again in 1873, and the cross took its present position there. It bears this quatrain by Charloun Rieu:

< Nostre vouiage se termino Notre voyage se termine
Aro es pèr iéu deman sera pèrtu Today for me and tomorrow for you.
Bén urous l'ome que camino Bien heureux l'homme qui chemine
Dins lou draióu de la vertu! On the path of virtue>

This cross has a legend: the Clapier couple, Pierre Clapier and Marie Giber, promised to build it. When the husband died, his wife forgot about the promise.

One day, a little girl from the family saw a dove and said to her: ‘Go and tell your godmother to fulfil her promise to erect a cross in the cemetery and to celebrate masses for the repose of poor Clapier's soul, otherwise the horses on the farm will all be struck with a fatal disease’. But the widow Clapier waited, one horse died and then a second. When the third died, she finally fulfilled her wish!
