Place Saint François is a cherished place in the eyes of the people of Nice. Recently renovated, this square, laden with history, is particularly busy in the mornings when it hosts its famous fish market.
The recently restored bell tower (Tour de l’Horloge) dominating the lively square where the fish market is held every morning (except Monday) around the dolphins’ fountain. The former town hall, decorated in the Baroque style, was first built in the 16th century. It is one of the few Baroque public buildings in Old Nice.
