Created on land won on the pond of Berre, it offers a privileged view on the pond, the Sainte Victoire, the rocks of Jaï and the forest of Escourillon, thanks in particular to 3 axes whose well is the point of departure.
The Jardin de La Rode is a pleasant place located in the city center, on the edge of the Etang de Berre. Families meet there to enjoy the picnic tables, the cool shade of the pergola and the watering hole where many ducks gather.
The garden full of flowers has been landscaped with two giant sculptures by Bernar Venet. You will be seduced by the majestic lines that try to reach the sky. These works temporarily placed here tour the world (New York, San Francisco, Beijing, Berlin, Tokyo...). These are "9 oblique lines" and "Two indeterminate lines".
The GR2013 trail (marked red and yellow) crosses the Jardin de la Rode towards the archaeological site of Tholon.
