The mountains, with their distinctive landscapes, reveal a rich and diverse flora and fauna and offer a wide range of sporting and leisure activities. People have adapted to their environment and developed skills in animal husbandry, crafts, architecture, hunting, gathering, etc.
A number of educational areas invite visitors to ask questions, such as the nocturnal fauna revealed along a mysterious gallery and the activities that took place on an original scale model.
On the ground floor, a temporary exhibition dedicated to beekeeping completes this discovery.
The museum is dedicated to René Léautaud, the owner of the old shop in which it is housed.
You can also have fun exploring the museum with a treasure hunt!
