Maison de la Nature

Anchored in the landscape and history of the Massif des Maures, the Maison de la Nature has taken over the space of a former factory. A fine tool for raising awareness in the heart of an astonishing biodiversity, it is above all a place for exchanges and encounters, a lively and animated place all year round. Built at the top of the hill overlooking the sea, the Maison Foncin dominates the site. Bequeathed to the commune to preserve its unique natural setting, it is at the origin of this rich environmental project. Observe and understand to better preserve, create links to change the way we look at nature, respect it and act together to protect it - these are the ambitions of the commune of Cavalaire through a dense program of exhibitions, visits, workshops and events.
