Collection of around 100 lithographs by Max Ernst, one of the world's leading exponents of the "Dada" and Surrealist movements, and his wife Dorothea Tanning, an artist in the same vein. Also on view are paintings by Stan Appenzeller.
Max Ernst in Seillans... For this great figure of surrealism, this charming perched village was the last stage of a brilliant international career. The Waldberg House, where he stayed with his wife Dorothea Tanning, houses an important collection of their graphic works as well as the paintings of Stan Appenzeller, another painter from Seillans.
