This tower is located at 990 m above sea level at the northern limit of the municipality of Melve, on a massif with a steep relief that provides natural protection and optical relationship.

The remains still in place make it possible to restore a rectangular keep of approximately 70 m2 extended to the east by a vast platform. Today, only the east and south sides, which are still about 9 m high, are still representative of the building.
The thickness of the walls (1.40 m) indicates that the tower was originally intended to rise some fifteen metres, before the roof and the upper levels collapsed.
