Created in 1963, the Archaeological Museum is housed in the Saint-André bastion, a military stronghold built by Vauban in the late seventeenth century.
Its two vaulted galleries house the archaeological collections of the City of Antibes, resulting from land and underwater excavations, making it possible to retrace the history of the town during Antiquity and that of the populations, Ligurians, Greeks and Romans, who left their traces there.
