




The museum presents the operation of the pond lignitifère to the Alpes de Haute Provence between 1874 and 1949.
Stories of former miners, photographs, objects, tell the time of the mine (1817-1949) and allow to discover the working conditions and union organization, daily life in the industrial town and surrounding villages . The geological aspect is approached through the history of each mine.
