Museum offers a wide range of the Art of Mediterranean countries. A full departement is devoted to Egypt.
A journey around the Mediterranean... Integrated into the cultural and museum spaces of the Vieille Charité, the Museum of Mediterranean Archaeology brings together two major collections: a department of Egyptology (the first after the Louvre!) and a collection dealing with the Near East and the Mediterranean basin. Funerary stele, amphora, oenochoe... nearly 800 rare and precious objects line the path.
