Nestled in a rampart house, the museum of traditional crafts presents a private collection of 7,000 authentic tools dating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
In this unique setting, each room (16 in total) presents the trades of the period in the form of simulated workshops, allowing young and old alike to travel into a world of memories for some and discoveries for others. Until 2023, the museum was managed by the association ‘Arts et traditions du site du château’ (Arts and Traditions of the Castle Site), whose president, Mr André Carlès, made his personal collection available to the public. It is now a municipal museum.
