On his return to Paris on March 3, 1815, Napoleon 1st stopped off at the Logis du Pin inn in the commune.
Where a bust by Jules Chaperon commemorates his visit.
It is located in the village of La Martre, at the top of the montée Notre Montagne (behind the town hall).
