The building, built in 1930, features high quality carvings and ironwork, which contrast with the dark-colored cement background.
Architect Georges Dikansky was inspired by the Art Deco style to create elements such as tower-belvederes and pergolas, reminiscent of seaside villas, but using concrete as the building material.
