The landscaping of this 12-acre park blends with the grounds of the buildings and the countryside around. Footpaths connect various areas of Jas de Bouffan. Fine vantage point for viewing Sainte Victoire Mountain to the east.
The land is very undulated and the relief is an important feature of the landscaping. A number of paths lead to the main attractive and decorative features: a lake of some 2,000m2, an open-air theatre seating 800, in the style of an ancient Greek amphitheatre.
The plantations consist of groves and trees chosen from regional species and nearly 10 acres of lawns accessible to the public. Architect: Longepierre, designer, in collaboration with the Parks Department.
