Former property of the painter Pierre Deval, listed among France’s historical monuments since 1993, the garden is labeled « Jardin remarquable » (remarkable garden). It’s known as one of the most beautiful gardens to visit in France.

Rehabilitated by the painter Pierre Deval in 1925, the Domaine d'Orvès continues to evolve in the respectful hands of his heirs.
It is a rare garden, a Provencal garden, a remarkable garden. A meeting between art and nature, a place of history, a unique botanical heritage... The garden of Orvès is an unexpected appointment at the gates of Toulon.

A charming source of freshness...
At the foot of Mont Coudon, beyond its garrigues, undergrowth, meadows and olive groves, the Domaine d'Orvès is home to a magnificent Provencal garden built in terraces. Mediterranean and exotic species are elegantly entwined around the ancient bastide at the center of the property.
A majestic avenue of old oleanders climbs up to the century-old plane trees on the terrace. With its different levels and numerous water features, basins, fountains and ponds, this ornamental garden is an interesting example of a gravity-fed irrigation system.
