Rue Obscure invites you to step back in time, into the heart of medieval Villefranche.

Located in the Old Town, along the first rampart, it was used in the 14th century as a sentry walk for the military. 130 meters long, it was progressively covered between the 16th and 18th centuries, giving its architecture a singular character. Listed as a historic monument since 1932, it can now be discovered as a passageway steeped in history and atmosphere.
