Built in 1668, it collapsed in 1698 and was rebuilt from 1729 on according to the plans of Pierre Sénès. The church was devastated and its furniture destroyed in 1793 during the siege of Toulon.
Five frescoes by Fernand Belmonte dating from the 20th century decorate the interior of the church. Its organ was built and installed in 1845 by Joseph Callinet. It has 22 games, 1390 pipes, two keyboards and a pedalboard. Restored by the workshop of P.Quoirin in October 2010, it keeps its original sound material. It was listed by the French Historic Monument Society in 1984.
