


It dates back to the 11th century. The building was considerably modified around the 19th century, with extensions including the addition of the presbytery in 1846. From 1992 onwards, major works gradually gave the church its current appearance.
It is said that the local population dug caves beneath the foundations of the church to provide shelter from invaders.
Inside, you can admire several representations (painting, sculpture and stained glass) of Saint Jean-Baptiste, the commune's patron saint, who is celebrated every year on June 24. This is the high point of the Saint-Jean festivities, which have been a village tradition for decades.
