The Saint Sauveur chapel, formerly a belfry, was decorated by Théo Tobiasse on the theme "Life is a feast". Outside, the monument is enhanced by a mosaic highlighting the entrance and a sculpture, L'Oiseau de Lumière.
This ancient belfry adjoining Rue des Ardissons, named after one of Le Cannet's founding families who settled here as early as 1477, marks the entrance to the district. The date of construction of this ancient Cannet bell tower (or "Campanile") remains unknown, but is thought to date from the 17th century.

Saved from probable ruin, the chapel was restored in 1989. All that remained was to find a destination worthy of its historic past and in tune with its spiritual vocation. This was the...
