All along the pedestrian street (rue de France and rue Cotta), magnificent lintels dating from the 17th and 18th centuries decorate the entrance doors of period bourgeois houses
Visible at numbers 1, 19, 75, 79, 96, 101, 103, 183 rue de France and numbers 51, 59, 61, 65 rue Cotta. The lintels are carved in a green stone typical of the Roya valley. They feature sentences or coats of arms such as the three lilies of the kingdom of France, the cross of the House of Savoy and the crowned two-headed eagle of the Lascaris counts.
