This 12-metre high sculpture made of welded stainless steel mesh represents the Swiss champion Keller performing his 23-metre jump at the 1st International Ski Competition on 11 February 1907.
It was created by Mr. Christian Burger and took two years to complete between its conception and the transport of the structure to Montgenèvre.
It is composed of three spectators of the time supporting the jumper in his "Flight" and consecrates Montgenèvre as the dean of French winter sports resorts.
With its grid transparency, the sculpture is perfectly integrated into the landscape of the resort.
