Notice the remarkable remains of the medieval fortifications, with the Reynier Door, known as « Portail de la Bise », and the Huguenots Door or « Portail neuf », departing from the houses at the bottom of the village.
Take the main street that leads to the Mascarons fountain, a listed historic monument, adjoining it is a one-handed clock from 1680.
If you continue down the street bearing left, you will come to the chapel of St. Thecla, or the « La Chapelle des penitents blancs ». It serves today as an exhibition space. A little further along is the communal oven.
Continue up and you get to the Romanesque church of Saint-Denis and its crenellated tower. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Dentelles de Montmirail and the valley from the vista point.
Down to the left you reach the Place des Arceaux, a square shaded by a canopy of plane trees. The branches are grafted together and listed as « Remarkable Trees of France ».
