Statue raised in the nineteenth century (1867) on the occasion of a Mission on the heights of the town, at the top of the peak Chabaud. The mission was decided by Fr. Louis Alexis, then the parish priest.The order of the statue was placed to vine of Lyon institutions, based on a model created to Lourdes by Joseph Fabisch.
