This very large and very old stone carved with 3 coats of arms marks the limit of the 3 bordering communes: Artignosc-sur-Verdon, Baudinard-sur-Verdon and Montpezat.
In 1742, a transaction between the Lords of Artignosc, Baudinard and Montpezat was materialised by a trifinium (point of intersection of three boundaries) in stone. The coats of arms present on this boundary are those of the three lords: the coat of arms of Thoron (Artignosc): the cien barbet surmounted by 3 bezants. The coat of arms of the Sabrans (Baudinard) : the lion. The blazon of the Blacas (Montpezat) : the sun with 16 branches. This stone, placed in 1743, put an end to ancestral quarrels and contributed to the demarcation between the Var and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence departments.
