On the banks of the Rhône, Constantine's thermal baths, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, were a great success thanks to the hypocausts that allowed hot air to circulate under the basement using brick pallets.
The ancient city of Arles was endowed with 3 thermal establishments, public places essential to the Romans. The Baths of Constantine are a testimony of these past splendors.
