Bi-spherical, its shape allows it to dive to 450 m, maximum depth.
Used as an elevator, it allows saturated divers to exit the rest box placed on the support boat to reach their working depth. It has two handling arms, two orientation motors and a large diameter observation window. Its volume is 4.5 m3 and its mass is 3815 kg.
Designed by the Constructions métalliques de Provence, in Arles, it was put into service in 1974.
Offered by Comex, it reflects the evolution of underwater exploration techniques and enriches the heritage of Sanary, "the historic city of scuba diving".
