Located opposite the Saint-Michel ramp, in the Genoese Baroque style, it comprises three floors and the date of 1649 is still visible on the façade. The building protected as a historic monument (16 November 1989) is still privately owned.

Facing the Saint-Michel ramps, rises the Pretti Hotel in Saint Ambroise. In 1533, the Pretti family had a beautiful building built on Rue Longue. In 1705, Antoine I Grimaldi ennobled Alexandre Pretti and gave him the fief of Saint-Ambroise in the Carnolès district. This patrician residence offers to the gaze an imposing mass characteristic of the Genoese baroque architecture of the seventeenth century.
