The Japanese garden

The Japanese garden known as "Un Air de Kumamoto" is in the west of the town, in Saint-Mitre Park. It was created around the Noh theatre. Symbolising the partnership between the towns of Aix-en-Provence and Kumamoto in Japan, the garden is a beautiful green gem. In the centre of the garden is a pond.
