At 123 rue Longue was the former palace of the princes of Monaco, which housed the first town hall of Menton during the French Revolution. Today it is transformed into apartments.
In the fifteenth century, the former seigneurial house, built by John I Grimaldi on Long Street, was completely transformed by Prince Honoré II in the seventeenth century. The palace was completed in 1650.
