This residence was the birthplace of Philis de La Charce in 1645, a heroine converted to Catholicism and sometimes called "the Joan of Arc of Le Dauphiné": she served the State at the time of the invasion of the Alps by the Duke of Savoy in 1692 and was rewarded by King Louis XIV.
