At no. 20 of the avenue de la gare, formerly known as rue de la Tuilerie, there is a house built in 1776, whose totally atypical brick façade bears witness to family know-how.
Established in Solliès-Pont since 1736, the Toulousan family has kept this tile-making tradition alive for several generations. With the death of Théodore Toulousan in 1890, the last generation of a family of tile makers who had been established in Solliès-Pont for more than 150 years died out.
