The village's rich history is highlighted on a themed walk called “An hour in the footsteps of the wolf” *. Visitors will discover the three remaining towers of the former medieval castle, remnants of the ramparts, narrow streets with evocative names (Esquiches mouches, Rompe-Cul) and the church of Notre Dame de la Tour, built in the early 12th century and listed as a historic monument.
The two recently restored washhouses in the historic centre, Saint Marc and Porte Royale, are part of a new itinerary that connects all six of Sault’s washhouses *.
