From its terrace, this building offers a breathtaking view of the town of Sanary, which has developed while preserving its authenticity and character to become one of the most beautiful fishing ports in France.

The fortified Tower of Sanary, which was at the origin of the development of the village of Saint-Nazaire, dependent on Ollioules, was built around 1300, and in 1436, King René, King of Provence, ordered the construction of a ditch and a boulevard for access and defence purposes. Tips
For safety reasons, access to the Tower is limited to 15 people at a time. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Access to the terrace is only allowed if weather conditions permit, ensuring visitor safety.

Please exercise extreme caution when ascending and descending the terrace (the ladders are very steep and must be descended backward).
