Located in the heart of the 16th-century hamlet of Les Calvys, the Tour des Calvys bears the name of the first family to arrive in Le Cannet in 1441 from the Val d'Oneille.
It was here that business was conducted: crop purchases and negotiations. In 1707, the Abbé Ardisson led the people of Le Cannet in a siege against the Imperials, sheltering their women and children. The seal of the Lérins Abbey, reproduced around 1940 on the entrance door of the Calvys tower, bears witness to the influence of the monks of Lérins, owners of Le Cannet since the year 1000.
