Villa Manon, completed in 1907 by Marseille architect Pierre Julien for Benjamin Teissier, a former merchant in Mexico, replicates a picturesque architectural style frequently found in the valley.
It is difficult not to think of Villa Morelia, built nearby seven years earlier. The slightly angled villa adopts the same verticality, further accentuated by the use of a steeply pitched roof.

Balconies and decorative faience lintels enliven the main façade, which overlooks both the street and the garden and is treated as an orderly façade despite the volume of the front section.

The capitals of the gate, where the name of the villa is inscribed, feature beautiful decorative carvings by Maison Pierre Rossetto in Barcelonnette.
