Discover the Villa Mauresque in Cassis: a historic gem offering unique architecture, a blend of tradition and escape. Explore this emblematic site for a journey back in time!
Adjoining the château, this early 20th-century dwelling owes its name to its style, reminiscent of the colonial properties built in Algeria around the same period.
Once an outbuilding of the château, it was bought, along with the château, by an American who fell in love with Cassis. On his death, his property was passed from hand to hand, until the Villa Mauresque was purchased by the Municipality in 1979. It is currently closed to the public.
