This fountain was intended for domestic use until 1954.
Although it has an octagonal basin, it is of the square fountain type. Originally equipped with a pine cone above the central urn, it was modified in 1889 in order to install a bronze Marianne at the top of the column. Originally, the lord of Artignosc had his fountain installed close to the Great Garden in which one can admire a prestigious fountain.
