From 1924 onwards, British subject Lawrence Johnston created a garden with a unique landscape architecture. Today, the garden's timeless charm is still home to countless rare plants and species from all over the world, most notably a remarkable collection of Proteaceae, offering visitors large, beautiful flowers with astonishing architecture and dazzling colors.
