Based on the book Le Flamant rose, ambassadeur des milieux humides (texts by Anne-Sophie Deville, photographs by Jean Emmanuel Roché), this exhibition presents a portrait of the pink flamingo, a bird so different from all others.
It reveals the characteristics of this astonishing species, which almost became extinct.
Its recovery marks the beginning of the study and protection of wetlands, and leads to a better understanding of the challenges and threats facing these exceptional territories.
