Travelling exhibition designed by the Maison de la transhumance with the support of the Direction de la Culture de la Région Sud.
The aim of this exhibition is to question the extraordinary capital of knowledge, know-how, domestic breeds, production, protected areas and landscapes, whose main protagonist is the transhumant sheep herder. And here, in the SUD Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, where transhumance is resilient and likely to endure if supported by all, to question the future of this age-old practice, often relegated to the rank of “tradition”. Cultural program around the exhibition to come.
