One October evening in 1960. Maurice broke down on a country road. It is raining heavily. He takes refuge in the nearest house in the hope of being able to take shelter and call a tow truck. But the storm increases and the telephone does not work. Maurice will have to stay longer than expected. This evening will be the most disturbing of his life. So much so that he will think about it for a long time.
