Conductor, Marci Vezzoso. The Big Band is made up of 16 to 18 musicians, students of the Pierre Cochereau Regional Conservatory in Nice, brought together in the largest jazz formation.
The Big Band of the Conservatory performs the great standards of jazz, from swing to funky, specially designed for the Big Band, and devotes itself to the discovery of new spaces thanks to Sound Painting (improvised direction without score) under the joint direction of Marco Vezzoso and Jean-Marc Baccarini. Tradition and modernism are on the agenda during these concerts.
