Menton Music Festival

The Festival de Menton was created by a Hungarian journalist, André Böröcz, who fell in love with the town whose architecture, according to him, perfectly matches the notes of classical music and makes it even more magical. For over 70 years, the town has hosted the greatest classical music artists and gathered a public which has remained true to the event. At the end of July and the beginning of August, soloists, orchestras and chamber music take over the Parvis Saint-Michel and the Palais de Menton to plunge the town into a dazzling atmosphere.

Since the 19th century, Château de la Moutte has been a favourite venue for musical tradition with its courtyard where the air is always cool and the acoustics delightful. In July and August, the most famous soloists of classical music and jazz share the stage and charm music lovers.
