Hoisting the sails
In Saint-Tropez
Spring is the perfect moment to discover the charms of the Mediterranean’s packed maritime heritage! From May 28th to 31st, an entire fleet of “pointus” (pointed-bowed fishing boats), feluccas, gozzos and tartanes from Marseille and Catalonia will be converging in the Old Port of Saint-Tropez for the “Voiles Latines” regatta held every year at the very chic and famous resort. In this outstanding setting, against a backdrop of pastel house frontages and red rocks bathed in sunshine, visitors can enjoy watching the races while savouring some delicious local specialities… And if you choose to prolong your stay in Saint-Tropez, you’ll also have front seats for this year’s 68th Giraglia Rolex Cup. Created in 1953, this iconic race brings together top names from the sailing world for a series of coastal races and upwind and downwind regattas in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
